Augmented Reality Developer

At TRAYLZ, we’re passionate about the exciting possibilities of enhanced reality and storytelling. We’re building an Augmented Reality application that allows people to explore the hidden stories of places across entertainment, sport and cultural heritage tailored to their interests.

We’re seeking a passionate Augmented Reality developer to play a leading role in the development of our product. In this role you will help to set the technical direction of TRAYLZ and its experiences, while working with talented engineers in a dynamic environment. As our ideal candidate, you thrive applying your creative problem solving skills and your ability to quickly come up with solutions. You are able to rapidly prototype, experiment, and evaluate different options before making important technical / architectural decisions without sacrificing code quality. Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and execute the architecture of our platform
• Optimize performance for mobile devices
• Continuously develop your skills to remain at the state-of-the-art in Extended Reality
• Work with other engineers, designers, artists, and user researchers to define and deliver industry-leading augmented reality experiences
• Assist in onboarding, and mentoring team members

Key Qualifications

• Experience building, shipping and maintaining Augmented Reality or 3D applications
• Experience building and releasing commercial software in C/C++, C# or similar language with 5+ years of experience
• Real-time 3D app development, rendering, simulation, and physics, and effects
• Experience developing applications for iOS or Android platforms
• Experience using 3D graphics development frameworks such as Metal, OpenGL, Vulkan, etc.
• Ability to write clean, well factored UI code
• Passion for quality and attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with ARKit/ARCore Augmented Reality frameworks
• Experience using OpenGL, Vision, TF Lite and/or other mobile platform ML frameworks
• Experience using tools and frameworks for training machine learning algorithms
• Experience with API design and implementation for realtime 3D applications
