We’re seeking a passionate Machine Learning engineer to play a leading role in the development of innovative AI/ML solutions for our product. In this role you will help to set the technical direction of TRAYLZ and its experiences, while working with talented engineers in a dynamic environment. Our ideal candidate is an experienced Machine Learning engineer who has a track-record of statistical analysis and building models, who has great leadership and communication skills, and who has a passion for fairness and explainability in ML systems. Responsibilities

• Finding new ways to extract insights from large amounts of data
• Design, refactor and build real-world scalable machine learning pipelines and deploy them to production
• Evaluate the technical tradeoffs of every decision
• Build robust, lasting, and scalable solutions
• Perform code reviews and ensure exceptional code quality
• Raise the bar for technical standards, performance, reliability, and operational excellence
• Continuously develop your skills to remain at the state-of-the-art in Machine Learning/AI
• Own and drive product decisions using your creative problem solving skills as a core part of the team
• Play a leading role in your work with other engineers and the rest of the team to build excellent ML solutions
• Assist in onboarding, and mentoring team members

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a foundation in a broad range of algorithms and data-structures
• 5+ years ML industry experience in designing, developing, deploying and monitoring machine learning and deep learning solutions
• Proficiency with Python, Java and/or R
• Experience working with ML frame-works such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark ML, scikit-learn, or related frameworks
• Experience in extracting, transforming, and cleaning large data sets
• Experience working with Knowledge Graphs and semantic web technologies
• Experience working with NLP models as well as Graph-Embeddings
• Excellent programming skills and awareness of computer architecture
• Passion for quality and attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience working with machine learning, ranking infrastructures, and system designs
• Passion for fairness and explainability in machine learning systems
• Experience with Cloud Computing
• Experience with container based deployment systems e.g Kubernetes, Docker
